"Good idea, but not done well"
date: March 21, 2008
It was a nice style and a good addtion to mahjong, but it wasn't done very well. Things come at you to fast and very rarely do things come out that you can actully remove. At a time when I had 7 possible pairs all exposed, with 9 things on the belt, nothing matched up. Nothing on the belt could be removed by any of my pairs. Removing all of those pairs quickly to save my self from a game over, the next exposed could only remove 2 items off the belt(that were repeats) and the next 3 things to come out were all among the 7 pairs I had removed earlier.
Bassicly, if your 'timer' is based on random pairs that may or may not actually still be avalible, then you probalby need to rework a few things. For one, combos should slow or stop the belt. That would really help, since I can work up a 8 tier combo, but have nothing removed and none of the newly exposed tiles be helpful. If that at least slowed or stopped the belt, I would have at least earned my self some time.
