Really cool game, Once you get the hang of waiting out the barrages of attacks you recieve it really starts to get fun. I was really impressed with how smooth the animation for the main character was. Really cool, keep up the great work!

The spider level is very tough :P But I love the graphics and the plot is good. The spider boss is hard, but every good game has a tough level that is challenging. 10/10 stars ;)

Yeah, many people have complained/commented about the StormPeak caves being really hard, but once you figure out the system, its easy as pie!

"not the best"

i hv to admit it was not the best of games and couldve done better but............................it had a goodsotryline to it but it was too predictable nd the guard was asleep he shouldnt hv noticed e u no wt im saying but very good game overall and im glad u enjoyd making it and lernd frm itbut id be looking forward to a second one of this and maybe a thirde but plz may u inprove the graphics if you do so please thank 4 reading my review :)

Improve the graphics? I'll try my best, but Im still learning how to animate. This was the best I could do with keeping game-performance in mind. Anyway, thanks for the review, Im glad you liked it. The things i will definitely improve on is gameplay and variety.

"Fun but needs a save system"

I stopped playing when I needed to do something then I had to restart from the beginning because I closed the thing Needs a save system but overall awesome game

Save systems I still have to work on. Dont know how to make them. Im no professional yet, but Im trying to get there and hopefully will with time. This game is not that long and I didnt even consider putting a save option into this game seeing as it is a flash game, and not a very long one at that. Im glad you liked the game :)

this game is honestly one of the best I've played on newgrounds.the action
is intense,the music epic,the animation fluid,and the storyline is no slouch either.
I commend the talented author.

Thank you very much. A lot of work went into this. I admit this game is not perfect and has quite a few flaws and glitches so Im glad so many people like The Rise of a Knight and Im glad you like it too :)

I've learned a lot form making this game, and now Im working even harder on the sequel for this game, so keep a look-out for it if you're interested.

Great gamegood graphix touch of gore...well not realy ...but great game it would have been a 99999999999999/10 if you couldnt just hold down the attack buttons in gorunning around like a screaming chicken with its heaad cut off ...Wait im off subject im sorry i have adhd ( or attention depost hyper active disorder) and it makes me go way off subject because i have very very very small attetion span bout this big |.| off subject again but ohh well great game!) :}. {:

Glad you liked the game. Yeah I know that the combat system is a bit flawed. Once you figure out that you can just run and hold down the A button for most enemies, the game gets WAY easier! A lot of people have complained about/mentioned it before. Im working on getting it balanced with the sequel. I hope I'll succeed. Wish me luck!
