sweet man i've been on newgrounds for 2 years and i've never seen anything this good(other that the mature stuff)i just created my account so this will be my first fav i never faced more than 2 enemieas at once i used the the special when 2 or more came like 1 time i faced 3 that was very hard this seems like an every day fairytale story but its different somehow and at the i was like OK LET ME KILL THE LORD i didn't like the look on his face it really made me wanna kill him i'm a little confused about the story we fallowed the goblins and there were none at the castle anyway great job man this was great and now i have to find something to match this..........i've got a lot of work for that oi

Glad you liked the game so much. Concerning the storyline, well, Lord Felkon hired a band of goblins to kidnap the princess. By the time you reach the goblin camp they have already delivered her to him, and they have already returned to their camp. You slaughter them ALL, that's why there arent any at Felkon's Keep. And besides, he has to keep up appearances if he wants to get away with what he has done. At the end, everyone seems to think that Lord Felkon rescued the princess form the goblins, even the princess herself! Something is wrong, and it will all be revealed in the sequel...

Don't worry about the people who bitch and moan about the spider or the ending. The game was excellent. The ending left more more to be desired, but that's a good thing for a sequel. The spider was a challenge, but not impossible.

As for the artwork, we've all seen submissions with poorer quality get higher scores.

The animations were wonderful, the environmental details were a great touch (sun/owl/raven etc.)

Thanks! Im glad you appreciate the little details I put into the game. I like that kind of stuff in games and thought it would be cool to make my own with little things like that in it for atmosphere. A sequel is under construction at the moment :)

It was an awsome game, with a nice story, but the ending was poor and i get angry couse of it. Anyway it was nearly perfect.

Well thanks a lot for the high scrore and Im so glad that you liked it.
The reason why the edning was so weird is because I had to cut it somewhere. The filesize was getting too big, and I was running out of time. I am currently busy making a sequel...

SORRY FOR DOUBLE POSTING ON MY OTHER ACOUNT RIGHT BELLOW ME I DONT GO ON THAT ONE INYMORE FOR SOME REASONS AND I AXIDENTLY THOUGHT IT WAS THIS ACCOUNT.

this game was really fun in the beggining and the middle but it was geting really boring.
also in the second stage i thought the game ended because it showed some of the credits.

but here is what you could improve on.

-easy to hard or godlike modes
-choice of weopon mabey? mace, slow but powerful sword fast but weak.
-mabey you could pick up there weopons
-having exp so you can lvl up and learn better spells and stronger atk
-mabey when you lvl up your weopon turns into a deadlier looking weopon of that type and is.
-like i said it got boring mabey you could run into a small group of rogues or something and when you beat them you collect items on your way to castles/caves or something.

here is what i liked.

-the random kinds of characters lol like that black fluff guy
-the special attacks
-the graphics wher amazing
-i liked shield and how it would bend like you wher actually being attacked
-the story line
-the difficulty not to easy not to hard
-how you could attack behind you haha ***runs swinging my sword while the spider chases after me**
-the bosses

and alot of other things that made this game one of my favorites

i love this game! hope you make more like this with the improvments i said in mind and others.

10/10

I am making a sequel for this game, and I am taking all your reviews and comments in consideration. There will be a lot of improvements and new stuff and off course a conclusion to the story. My coding skills are much better now, and I hope it will show. I know of all the glitches and will try to improve on them. Glad you liked the game so much. Thanks!

(++) You created a great piece of entertaining art, man! As a relugar flash eater, I can say that I really enjoyed the game. It has very good flavor to me. Crunchy & Punchy ... Good work! ...

(++) Nice graphics and musical theme.

(-) Maybe the fighting system was a bit limited, but its not that bad, you know... Improvement will come from experience.
( Like... Paladin, for example. Wich is a game with advanced gameplay. )

Please, keep me entertained... make more flashes!!! :)

Yeah Im still learning a lot as I go along. I still wont be able to make a game as great as Paladin, one of the coolest flash games out there! I have a long road to go before that. Like you said, improvement will come from experience. Thanks for those encouraging words.
