"Good Game"

I enjoyed it up to the point where i realized that the jumping seemed to be nothing more than for look; since the enemies could easily slash or stab you as if you were on the ground. Another off point for the game had to be the nigh impossible avoidance of damage, the attacks of the enemies generally were completed faster than yours so if there was more than one you'd certainly be hit when you attacked. Otherwise this game was a fairly interesting creation, it was fun and imaginative. The music was quite enjoyable

Well, its not entirely true that you would be hit if there were more enemies. It is possible, but it wont happen depending on your actions. If you keep swinging your sword and shielding at appropriate times, then you'll be fine.

The jumping does have its uses with things like spike balls coming at you and spiders, but I know that it can be improved. And while making this game, I've learned a lot of things to help me improve my next and other future games.

Yeah health potions might have been a plus rather than regenerating health, but the problem is I didnt make an inventory system. I wasnt sure if my coding skills could handle it, and I didnt want this game to become much more complex anyway. It is a good idea though, and I hope you try this game again at least once. Its a shame you died at one of the bosses, which one?

"Good story, passable game"

Kudos for the writer in a big way.I like the story.

Sound track gets old, perhaps a mute button for music only.I always enjoy this option.

The quick attack just looks like a flailing arm connected to someone elses body.

The arrow guys are literally impossible to dodge.You can be well over an arrow but you blink back to the ground and get hit.I can't believe that went unnoticed.

For the most part if you just lay on the quick attack button you're invincible, so I've seen so far.The guy with the chain mace is most obviously affected by this.You can stand way back and hit his mace every time he swings it.

I liked the health and power system, character design seems a bit cartoony but good.

Thanks! My writing skills are pretty bad, so I feel very flattered and spurred on by your compliments. Anyway, I didnt miss the fact that the jumping is flawed. My coding skills just wasnt good enough to rectify it. And the hit detection for the knight's sword was also a bit flawed. I have learned a lot while making this game and will be able to improve on al those aspects for the sequel...

"it was cool"

so yea it was good. i enjoyed that you ACTUALLY had to block in this game. most games like this you just run threw slashing. the spider boss was a bit hard. overall it was a good game :)

"cool game"

This is a nice little time waster, fun w/o being too invovled. If I do have a complaint the spider enemies are a little dark too see, and maybe throw in a new skill or ability when you pass a checkpoint. Other than that good job.

Thanks.
Many have complained about the spiders being too difficult, but maybe its just because everything else is so much easier. Its a bit unbalanced, but I think them being so dark gives them a cool feel. New skills and abilities would have cranked up the filesize and it would have REALLY pushed my abilities as a coder, but its a great idea for the sequel. I have learned enough with this game to give the sequel all sorts of new and exciting stuff. Glad you liked the game and thanks for the review!

"Nice"

Great game, but it was a tad bit repetitive after I reached the Goblin Camp. It was encounter after encounter, much like Half-Life. Maybe if you added a shop or a map in which you could choose where to go, the game would have been less repetitive.

The storyline was cliche, bbut I always liked it. Don't know why, but I just do. Also, when I attempted to jump over a n attack this goblin did, I instantly went back to ground and was slaughtered. Wtf.

Im glad you liked the game.
The thing about jumping is even if the axe/arrow would hit the bottom of your feet then you would still get hurt. I know it sucks but its just my bad programming skills. Im still learning and getting better everyday. Jumping does have its uses though at some points, but mostsly its just useless, sorry. Remember to use your shield :)

"Good"

I did like it yes, but got bored slowly of the same attack over and over... Ok.. Sorry, I meant the same two attacks over and over... I liked it until that spider boss in the cave..

I kept getting trapped between 2 small spiders, and couldn't fight them because the big one was spitting acid on me...

Apart from that lol..
I guess it was good.

Tip: Kill the two small spiders as quickly as possible when the big spiderqueen comes. After that there will only come one small spider at a time, and it will leave you more time to focus on the big mutha. People got bored mainly because of the limited amount of moves. I will seriously take that under consideration with my next project. Thanks :)

"Glitch?"

First off, good gameplay, great artwork/graphics. The game ran smooth, everything was about par with a good game. The problem is that it's repetitive. Change it up a bit, maybe leveling? Also, I think there's a glitch. I start pressing 'A' and when I first hit the fat goblin with the mace, I hold onto the 'A' key and, without moving, I hit the goblin even though it's a foot away. It could be just my computer (Outdated), I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Yes it has. Its not a glitch, its just bad programming on my part. This game was quite an ambitious project for me and I had to learn a lot to make this, but through making this I have learned even more. Now I know how to prevent it in future games.
