holy crap! this is incredible! never before have i seen such a marriage of animation, sound and sheer intellectual ferocity!
the cat could be representative of our current society. interested in this holiday of halloween, excited by the concept, yet not having a far reaching grasp of the historical context.
the star scepter represents knowledge, insight and the supernatural all at once! it guides the "halloween cat" in it's journey to discover the depth of this holiday and understand it's inception!
the pumpkin at the end represents paganism and the spirit world! the knowledge bestowed upon the cat via the star cepter of the black arts finally comes to a head in it's commanding of the pumpkin to become possessed by the demons from the fifth circle of hell! the earlier forays of the zombie reanimation and fending of the un-dead could be likened to child's play once this demonic pumpkin takes the stage.
only when it's too late; the cat notices his misdeed and then is overwhelmed by the knowledge that once guided him, and he so craved!
now that's what call a faustian bargain!
