Neat little game, but there's a couple things that I think need work. The most obvious is the fact that you keep moving while the newspaper is covering the screen when you rescue hostages, good way to die quickly if there's a lot of enemies nearby. Also on the spacestation level you can destroy the alien ships basically right at the beginning and then you have to dodge asteroids for the rest of the level making it not as fun as if you had to wait til the end of the level to take on the aliens in my opinion. Neat idea and pretty fun to play but it could use a little work.

"Good, but glitchy"

Would have an amazing score, except that keys occasionally 'stick' - I'll be flying left, or right, or whatever, and when I release the key, I'll keep flying in that direction. Really sucks to get insta-killed because of that.
Also, waaaay too few upgrades. I got both weapons maxed by the end of the first stage. Something besides stocking up on consumables would be nice. And hotkeys to use them, and switch weapons.
All in all, good game, needs more spit and polish.

Iv been setting here for 30 minutes now and the first level wont load
why is everyone giveing this game good reviews if this is such a peice of shit.
I have a Windows XP it works just fine on other 3d games an flash even Carrot Juice and others i demand to know why right now!

"Great Flash Game"

First of all, if your playing on a laptop without an actual mouse you probably won't enjoy this game to it's fullest.
The game needed to be controlled with the W A S D keys, it would be inconvenient to have to use the arrows while trying to aim the mouse, and it makes the game even harder for those of us playing on laptops, regardless of the flaws, it was a simple fun flash game, if it wasn't, it wouldn't have been on the frontpage.

"Needs some tweaks"

The perspective is too low which makes it hard to see enemies straight ahead. The reticule should be more visible, possibly yellow to contrast better with background. Enemies are shooting at you before you even really see them, which is kind of bogus. Raising the perspective would help this, so you could just have things shooting when they're visible.

All that said, it really is kind of fun to play.
