Author's Response:
in response to negative feedback:
the drawings are abstract but not random. Death is there because of course he is mentioned, of course it's a simple drawing, just a mouth and eyes, this is clearly intentional as it is the style of this part.
The mannequin would be the dying guy lying on the ground, dying.
As for the mouth talking while text in quotation marks appears right next to it?? Uhmmmm you should be clever enough to figure that one out. The mouth is clearly saying what the text next to it says. Just because you can't hear something talking doesn't mean it's not talking. Think of the quoted text as subtitles for nothing, just to let you know what he says at all.
The lines are meant to look like that, on the guy on the ground. I actually added those, the drawing was complete before that, however i admit i am quite poor at anatomy.
I agree i went too far with effects, i have a tendency to do that.
Also, you seem to have some of the stuff you didn't like in the small paragraph you wrote intentionally to tell me what you DID like!!
'I liked some of the colors you used. I wish you hadn't left so much blank whiteness though. That wasn't appealing.'
Thanks for the good and detailed review!
