Score: 10
"STUNNINGLY good game..."
date: March 30, 2008
Note: The 'violence' and 'humor' scores have little (if anything) to do with how good a game is... They are only there because they used to be in the sub-scores and are only a measure of how much violence and humor there is to be had in the game (if any). Also, the sub-score 'interactivity' has been replaced with 'gameplay'...

Simply put, this is a STUNNINGLY good game...
Graphics: 10/10 (Superb): Whilst the graphics look fantastic on the whole, this game's strongest point in terms of graphics would have to be the wonderful, special effects. From the pretty energy balls, to the cool swirling vortexes, to the fantastic explosions, the special effects in this game are truly remarkable. The other graphics are really good too, particularly the interface...
Style: 10/10 (Superb): How can a flash game so complex be so bug free? Not only that, but the way the whole game is put together, in such a polished, coherent manner is superb as well. Indeed, this is probably one of the single most well polished flash games around...
Sound: 9/10 (Excellent): This game offers a great range of high quality sound effects to listen to. You'll never get bored listening to the same effects over-and-over in this game, partly because of the undeniable quality of the effects, and partly because there are enough of them to avoid , for the most part, the player hearing the same effects again and again. I'm not quite as big a fan of the music though, but it's not bad. It tends to get lost under the sounds of the battle anyway...
Violence: 3/10 (A Little Violent): Ooooh, pretty lights... There's no gore in this game, but all the explosions definitely deserve a few points...
Gameplay: 10/10 (Superb): I love the quirky physics system in this game. Watching those huge tanks bounce around like pinballs before exploding is certainly a satisfying experience. The gameplay itself is fast-paced, and will definitely keep a player on the edge of his seat. It's not TOO overpowering, however, this game's balance seems almost spot on... This game is simply a joy to play, and I, unlike Oddler, actually thought the controls were really good. The main energy slingshot is easy to aim and the other specials are simply point-and-click. My only complaint might be that there isn't a hot key for the level-up button in the to corner, but its a VERY minor a complaint...
Humor: 2/10 (Slightly Humorous): The tanks bouncing around as they do in this game certainly makes me smile, but that's about it as far as humor in this game is concerned. That doesn't detract from the fun factor though...
Overall: 10/10 (Superb): All-in-all, Momentum Missile Mayhem 2 is a fantastic game. Audibly and visually pretty, slickly designed, highly polished and, most importantly, good clean fun, a true testament to dz2001's flash making skills.
If you're into fast-paced arcade titles, or even if you're not, you should definitely check this one out...
