OmegaDragon3000 (known to me as the author of the Drakojan series) offered up a very nice intro to a game that really could have been something. As you start out, you notice first that the graphics of the game are very nicely done, from the logo on the title screen to the opening cut scene, to the in-game sprites. The character animations are just okay, though, and I guess it's just a lot harder to animate people correctly than to animate machines. The game builds up nicely, from a simple "let's do some exploring", to "what the heck was that", to "yikes, let's get out of here". There isn't a WHOLE lot to do, but what the game does have is the ability to make you want to keep playing, which is almost always a good thing. Wish there were some other levels though...
