"syncing needed"
date: March 9, 2009
I really love the graphics and game idea, it's an excellent and simple idea having the background paint Itself as you suceed in the stage. one lesser niggle was the choice of buttons; having up, down arrows as command buttons in a game which required you to also move up and down was a bad choice. but by far the biggest problem was the syncing.
As a musician(and a gamer) I have witness one or two rhythm games which don't quite sync up together, but this one was especially dreadful for it. if the player has any sense of rhythm, they're doomed to scoop everything for fear of timing it incorrectly, and as a result missing the command. There are some organ players which have to play behind and ahead of the beat, in order to sync up with choirs which may be the other side of very large churches, maybe they might enjoy the game.
I feel awful giving such a lovely game such a low score, but it's failed at the most important aspect, the gameplay.
