"Amazing"

date: July 18, 2007

Simply amazing. I really love your work, but with this game you really pushed the boundaries of flash further than ever. Drawings were so deep and realistic feeling. and to think that this game was scripted and drawn in flash... You amaze me guys!! Keep it up!

"Beautiful!"

date: July 18, 2007

I loved it =D! Couple of scattered spelling errors, but other than that, flawless!
I'd love to see future 'episodes' of this game...mayhaps a series =o! (most def. would NOT kill the idea, it's pretty fresh around here...)
Just a couple of...'kinks'...I felt I had solved before I had finished talking to everyone and proving 'innocence', I sort of felt that was..."hand fed" (proving them innocent, at least)

On a completely different note, I'd LOVE to congratulate you on the most amazing still backgrounds I've seen in a Flash game! I loved the backgrounds, and how well they looked! They didn't have that flat "vector" look, they had a significant depth and feel to them. I was fun just to see how far you could push Flash's vectors (and it's hard to believe that it was all done in flash! Usuially, people make the still BGs in Photoshop, and just import them [then they look out of place with animated vectors on them XD!]).

"Where's the hat? lol"

I love this game! needs a sequel, need more answers like the mysterious little girl and etc.!

Graphics - 10 Smooth, clean, flashy flash style, what more to say? best graphics I have ever seen for a game!

Sound 9 - Music is eerie, chilling and great, didn't get the 10 because the voices are just laughs, grunts, etc. Still pretty good!

Gameplay 10 - The Adventure genre never gets old, ECI is a great mini-game, clues and puzzles are great, really fun to play!

OVERALL - 10 - Best detective game I have ever played! ALL MY 5 R BELONG TO THIS!

"This is simply an amazing piece of work."

This is certainly of the quality necessary to make a DS game, and I hope that you get tapped to work on one somehow.

I found that the puzzle solving aspect was difficult enough to make completing the game feel rewarding, but easy enough to do in one sitting. If you are asked to undertake a more ambitious project, however, more difficulty will definately help your cause. Either having more cases, or making the cases much harder would give a player a better sense of accomplishment.

I'm deeply impressed by this, and you should honestly be proud of yourselves for making such a good flash game.

"Enjoyed it"

date: July 18, 2007

I liked it, but the music at the very beginning of the game when you first start it was used in the Warcraft 3 custom game, Night of the Dead Aftermath. The game is almost 4 years old, so either the audio was stolen, or that is some old audio.

Anyway, enjoyed the game. Expressions got repetitive. 9/10

"Not bad"

I'm not a big fan of the art style but the gameplay was good and definitely worth a few minutes of my time. The sound was probably the best part of this submission though, as I see you used the NG audio portal well.

"entertaining, yes quite"

date: July 18, 2007

its harder for me to review this with the new system but it went somthing like this
graphics-pleasing to the eye, id mess around with the ending where you explain why you think someones guilty, and maby add some cut scenes

sound-not bad but think about adding some erie music, everyone likes erie music when doing a puzzle, and some more sound effects

interactivity- you have a good system, but maby make it harder to find clues, also i found it annoying that the pages reset in the book with the to do list

story-good, but i would have liked to have arrested the crook myself or atleast see him arrested, and i realize you must have put a lot of work into this but i know im not the only one who found this easy, thouge maby ive just been playing to much submission or is it machine? and maby add a randomization of who was the killer, harder buteveryone would appreciate it and when i say randomization oviously i mean 1 or 2 more ways the game could be played out

overall- 9 great work (claps) i think you've distinguished yourself amoung the masses
