Its got good animation, and good music, its like a game and a disco rolled together!
BUT! Gameplay is VERY REPETITIVE AND QUICKLY GETS BAWRING!

nothing great, but it still is cool. i liked it, consider improving the interactive part a bit. the timing was great though, including you shots timed with the song.

This game was pretty average. There was a lack of levels, and the graphics were overly simple. The re was little to do other than move, and you have to consciously try to get killed.

but there is simply not enough going on to make the game interesting. There's not enough levels and not enough enemies (well, actually they're rocks, but you could have used real enemies and bosses too). You need to expand on this idea more.

Here's the breakdown of the scores:

Graphics-They were pretty good, but all the over use glow screwed up the framerate, and made it slow and out of sync. Plus, even when I turned off the filter, it was still laggy and out of sync.

Style-Excellent and original, but led to less interactivity.

Sound-Nice loops! Had a great beat abd didn't take up too much space as well!

Violence-Just ships getting blown up, not a submission ment for violence, anyway.

Interactivity-Not that great for a game, for all you did was move up and down and let the song take care of the shooting. Maybe think of a creative way to make it more interactive such as bombs and upgrades you can get that can speed up the pace of the song.

Overall-I would rate it a 5 since it was to graphical for my shitty laptop, but I believe that it was a nice idea and would've been a good game on a nicer computer, so I'll give it an 8. (4/5)

PLease make upgrade this to where you can play your own music with this. THAT would make this a classic, and a famed submission such as the Punk'o matic. IF you make this where you can play your own music, it'd be the best thing ever.

"The most original game I have seen in a while."

This is the most original game I have seen on Newgrounds in a long time. The style is great, the sound is awesome, and the concept is brilliant. This game is a great skeleton for future rhythm based shooters. I expect a sequel. The only things I will criticize is the the lack of variety in targets. Asteroids are great, but in a sequel I would expect things that shoot back. For now, though, I want all other developers to take note of this game as an example of brilliant concept and design.
