"Simple but repetitive"
date: October 9, 2009
The game's actually very easy, and ironically, the boar is actually the hardest of the three bosses. For the normal ubergoths, you could just repeat the block and slash tactic - that way you can easily earn combo points for strong attacks. If there are too many hitting you, then just sprint away (you might risk a bit of damage), then use your strong attack (you have a longer reach than them, and this will kill them instantly). There is not enough variety of enemies, so the game begins to become repetitive.
Against the boar, just keep slashing the boar's head (hold down A), making use of the fact that you have a very long reach compared to your enemies. When he is going to charge, he is invulnerable, so just stand a distance away. When you see him charge, jump over him. Just repeat these until the boar's dead, leaving behind an ordinary ubergoth.
Against the destructor, just hold down shift (sprint), run, jump and attack his head. If he blocks, just jump and attack his head again. If he is hit, then quickly sprint away and repeat the pattern. You'll win sooner or later.
Against the wizard, if he is going to do his eyebeam, just sprint away from the wizard. If you see only his eyes appear, he's going to do a vertical eyebeam; just run away sideways. If you see a little flash, it means he's gonna perform a sweeping melee attack starting from that location. Like the eyebeam, just sprint away from that flash. As soon as the wizard appears and starts laughing, attack him! If you can, use the strong attack.
Now, I'll also like to point out that corpses do not disappear. Therefore, when I play the "survival", the longer I play, the laggier it gets, because more corpses are piling up and they are not removed from the game, so that's a flaw.
Not bad, but it could use more work.
