You are obviously talented, I see no point why you try and rely on slap stick style comedy and random violence, I really believe if you would have put some more thought into this it could have been one of the best animations on NG :( Good job still though.

the animation is perfect.... the sound effects is another matter.... i think the "blinking" and "movement" comical sounds actually draw away from the film.... hearing a violen-note when they move their arms is just annoying especially when it doesn't happen during something funny.... Perhaps put some music to it instead of relying on comical effect sounds?

"hmmmmmm not bad"

not really my cup of tea but its definately a nice peace. I read a lot of reviews and your comments about it so i could make a decent judgement of this flash that mabye you can use in the future. Your frame by frame was good, it brought a nice feeling to the film. but the backrounds didn't really go well with the animal drawings probably because they were more like paintings. If you were going for the oldschool animation style then thats alright. I read your comments about pushing the limits of flash and i don't wanna be a debbie downer but i think you'll need a bit more practice with the programs abilities. maybe this is just more opinion then truth but when i think of animators who push the limits of flash i think of adam philips but that man is just blessed with artist talents so i guess its hard to compete. As far as an overall view of it i liked it. It reminded of the old disney animations and id like to see more from you in the future

Great... simple great. The graphics were amazing! And don't get me started about the sound effects! And then came the humor... I can tell you I wouldn't want to be the squirl.

"Pushing the limits of Flash animation"

This short, simple film pushes the very bountaries of Flash animation. The lighting, with the bloom effects and the dynamic saturation of colors is simply astounding, and rarely, if ever, seen in flash animation. Like others, some of the sounds are a little cheesey, and sometimes don't fit well with the animation (Buzzsaw sound with the paintbrush). However, the gorgeous visuals, and intriguing story more than make up for it.

Astounding graphics, the entire thing was breathtaking... And, somehow, nostalgic.

Very fluid animation, life-like, realistic, interesting virtual "camera" movement.

Excellent sound also, perfect timing, high quality voice acting...

I can't suggest any obvious improvements, just well done.

this was a very well animated cartoon i liked the way you saw the bird die and then it goes into how he died its sort of like the butterfly flapping its wings. Very good keep it up.
