"This was a real treat"

First off; Great concept and genuinely creepy. The first and last lines are the stuff of nightmares and poetry.
There were so many things done so well in this animation. The girl's whispering narrative coupled with the almost illegible diary-like text was a fine touch. The girl seemed a bit out of place, like she was drawn by someone else, but it really worked here. The fairy was perfect; A harmless dream-creature twisted into a ferocious nightmare. Great style with the silhouette as well. The fact that the little girl couldn't see the true visage of her tormentor was brilliant. If that's all this animation consisted of - just another nightmare - I wouldn't have been as impressed.
But it wasn't
The ending really stole the show, and it was made that much better by the events preceding it. The thought that one would rather be chased by their demons than to be left in the isolation, utter darkness, and uncertainty of things that are sure to come. The thought of That which waits for you doesn't want to eat you, it has something far worse and unimaginable in store. Pure terror.
I've been on this site for a long time, and I've seen more animations than I care to count. I don't review very often anymore either, but yours has compelled me to do so. I had to let you know that this, like your other work, is truly a great story. You have captured the essence of personal horror. If I wore hats, they would be going off to you. BRAVO.
