"Its almost great"

It is a very good submission and as was said by the person before me its almost profesional grade. The sountracks sounded great and flowed seamlessly in and out. However, the voice for throwback could not necessarily be better but could sound less mechanical. His pauses are too longand there is a very monotone metalic ring to his voice. Not cutting you down again this was very well done, just saying what can be done better.

i loved the dusty rhodes reference - but the main mans voice annoyed me slightly - but a nice range of characters - keep it up dude.

"Great Cartoon BAD Voice for Throw back =("

Great cartoon man everything is almost perfect except the voice for Throw Back and the story takes to long. i found myself skipping scenes to get to the points. Maybe episode 2 can have it where he gets hit in the throat causing him to have a new voice =)

this flash is the best i've seen in a long time but, not to sound like the other a$$holes here but the ducks voice kinda off...he should sound like the fonzes (joke'in) EHHHHHHHYY!!

i gave myself the leisure of reading some reviews for this movie before i watched it. and i agree with most of these people. the art work is great but the voice work just flat out sucks. and the guy who does the duck is a horrible voice actor. the character designs are pretty stupid too just for the fact there is a sock puppet and a half robot, half parakeet. and another thing with the animation is that i understand you are good at designing but there are very few scenes where the duck or anyone is walking with a full body shot and i caught some "south park bobble walking" at one point. most of the movie are still shots with the mouths moving and some hands or something moving.hate it

"Misdirected Talent"

Your ability to draw and animate is being wasted. To be brutaly honest, and to concur with many reviews, is the voice acting and dialog is not on par with the rest of the flash. The reason the beginning is so entertaining is because we love the art and more subtle attempts at humor like the shampoo. When it gets to the dialog, it is completly lost. Throwback is supposed to be cool, he's not. Is that supposed to be ironic? It's not. It just falls into the annoying catagory. The characters in general are a sort of eccentric generic, and the only way it is entertaining is as some sort of inside joke. The acual voice acting lacks substance and feeling. There is an attempt at it, but it fails.

I don't want to be so discouradging however because this art is among the tops here at newgrounds. If you want to dish out higher quality flash animations and be accually rated at the top, you are going to have to pair up with a voice actor(s) or go back to the workshop with whoever your crew is and work on it.

I truely suggest that before you put all your energy into this Throwback series, that you create a seperate side short and focus on where this lacks, to see if you can wow the crowd in previous failing areas.

"A little too slow"

You have a great idea, great animation, and great music, but the whole thing moves so slowly. Cut out some of the walking, make the dialogue a little more entertaining and to the point, and it would be an awesome cartoon.

Good graphics and all, and its a pretty good idea for a flash, but its just way too boring. It didn't really have anything to keep me interested or entertained.

The voice for ThrowBack sucked...really, it does. It just doesnt match im' at all. Other than that it was cool, and I hope this one reaches episodes 10+
