This is a very thought out game and is really good. Soem of the worse things that can happen to you are Civil Wars, Guerilla Raid and Angry Mob (Only Guerilla is preventable, and Angry mob is only against animals, which is what I do when I have enough money)

This game is well done. Simple game play, with a very real background to it. Took me a few turns to really get the hang of it, and figure out how to survive the sometimes constant yearly events that kept taking all my money, but definitely worth playing, if for no other reason than the political background/realism to it.

This is a great simulation. Extremely addictive, simple graphics and lots of fun. It's one of those games that you don't win, you just do a little better each time you play.

Every year, the annual event would conveniently screw me over, such as killing all of my crops multiple years in a row, followed by sickness in the family. make it a bit more fair, and it would be significantly better.
