Every since I saw your animated film watching halloween, I was mesmerized by how a simple and concise animated film set to music can evoke so much pathos. It is me admitting my own relating to the film when I say that I can completely sympathize with your short films. Its charming, well paced and very real. Often in film directors attempt to evoke realness and grit of the world outside the camera but I rarely see it work. Your film feels like a slice if life with a vector based program drawn over it.

good little flash, im another reviewer that has once again been on my own on vday, and of course i hate it. But i can stand it jsut as long as i can keep my mind out of it (AKA engross myself in halo2). The one thing i can relate to is the girl knocking on the damn door. My vday was going along just fine when all of sudden my freinds decide to go bowling and it was suppsoe to be a no chick night, hence being vday. Well one of my freinds gf shows the fuck up and the next thing u know all of my freinds girlfreinds are there, in motehrfuckincluding the one girl I fuckin like.

Psh. Valentines day. What a joke. People are probably going to call you emo for this (although showing Donnie Darko was REALLY REALLY pushing it...), but they must understand that this is the problem with v-day. If you're not being a drone like the rest and buy into the idea of loving a person one day a year, you're going to be sad because you can't. Nice way of thinking and showing the world outside the box. Good work.

So I liked the style and the music. But the main character seemed kind of hopelessly emo. Can relate to the situation, but not the ignorant sorrow of the main character. I gave it a 4. Keep the style and keep on working. You can do well with it.

(sniff)(sniff) The moive is so...so sad. I feel pity for the poor dude who had to spend V Day alone. Flash back to reality, it has been the third stright year for me to take the loneliness inside and spend the day which was supposed to be romantic all by myself. :( The moive is a mirror which displays my own loneliness in the real world through the character and his sad story. Oh, boy, I am so sad right now... :(

I can really relate to that... when he started watching Donny Darko and there was a shot of his face blinking for a while, I looked at the screen and saw my self. I really have to find something better to do.

Looking at this movie was for me like thinking of my today's life and of the valentine's day I had this year... a lonely day like the others.
