"Needs major work."

I'm not gonna lie: this was a fun game to get in to. Unfortunately, it didn't last very long because of flaws in the game coding. The basic concerns on my list are no different than what anyone else has said:

- Lack of total control of units
- Repetitive music
- Units trapped behind buildings

Etc etc etc. If I can add one more to the list, it's that when you go to purchase a tower, you can't CANCEL the purchase. On the 2nd round I was considering putting in 2 towers to guard my castle. I set one in place but by the time I clicked the 2nd one, I decided against it. However, I couldn't cancel the purchase of the tower. I tried clicking other units, hitting Esc, and dragging the mouse, but it was no use. If you update the game, add cancelation of pre-determined purchases into account.

It's a good framework for a game, but there are lots of bugs and other unit issues that prevent it from being something that I'd look forward to playing more often. (A multiplayer feature would be nice too, tbh.)

I enoyed this game thoroughly but was a bit annoyed with the way sometimes troops dont necessarly listen to you. and get caught on the sides of buildings. I liked the music but after round 2 it became very repetitive and a bit more would make it a 10.

Overall a really good game.

Just a few points:

I have to agree with the other reviewer about friendly troop AI. If I tell a trooper to move away from combat, they should move away. If I leave them alone, they should go ahead and attack whatever they can.

Selecting troops and trying to buy units is a bit of a pain. Why not tie in purchasing with hotkeys and leave the purchasing window open all the the time (or have the purchasing window appear when you hit the SHIFT key or something)? It might help .

Otherwise a really slick piece of work.

Now you get the rare Pandar Award of 'I actually played your game all the way through'. I usually end up trashing the game within 10 minutes, give it a review, rate it, and end my job, but you wow'd me on this one, I played for a good 30-40 minutes, and beat all 6 levels that are presented on Newgrounds. I'm impressed, and actually gave you the honor of being in my favorites.

It was a fun game it just takes a little to get into. The graphics could be way better. But it kept me busy for a little bit. Ill def play it again...

This game was really a waste of my time. it is almost imposible to control all the troops and get them to there destination. it was however a good concept and if you can fix some of the problems this game can definatly stand out but until then this game just sux!

I'll be one of the first to admit that this game was good, but there are just a lot of issues that you just can't avoid in a flash game. First being the usage of troops. You have no idea how frustrating it was to have my units move whenever i decided to select a new unit or to build a building. Because everything was tied to the left click (which I'm guessing you had to do) everything happened at once.

Then there was the weird way to select units. I understand the whole left click a unit to select em...but if its tied to a group, then left clicking only de-selects them. To select a single unit, you have to click and drag over that one unit which can be kinda hard if you have a lot of units in one area.

Lastly there is this annoying little thing with the units....they auto attack, even if i give them orders to the contrary. I lost my general multiple times because i would click to get the dood to move, but instead he'd stay and fight the enemy. No wait, actually he'd run away for a single step, then turn and fight again. Clicking multiple times in rapid succession didn't do a thing about it either. All it did was get him killed faster cause he'd stop fighting to run a step then go back and fight some more, just before decided to run a step again.

I honestly believe that this could be a great game, but it just doesn't work very well in flash. There are too many things that you have to work around that it just lowers the overall greatness that is your game.
