"Huge ammount of reppetition"
This game is really all about power and control and goes through the same pattern of building and killing. It would work if it was a bit easier because it takes too much time for one victory.

Along with, at a certain point, not being able to produce any soldiers." well because you still need to get resources on some places if you are wondering y i know this because i played this 3 times already
