"Geometry Wars>File Wars"

First of all, I thought Geometry Wars was an awesome game. It was very simple but had some cool power-ups and very amazing graphics, especially for an Xbox Live Arcade Game.
This, however, is not that great of a game. What could have been done better was ruined by the lack of variety through the game. While I must admit, the files and colors are neat and all, but the game just lacks too much.
While the flashing colors aren't a problem for my computer, they more than likely are for many other users of New Grounds. Not only that, but they don't make the game look much better, and they give me a headache. The files themselves are simply Windows sprites, which the game maker did obviously not make himself. Nothing impressive as far as graphics go.
Some players may not be bothered by the graphics. I really just don't understand how you can enjoy the game. It is a simple concept, but there are very few powerups and a lack of challenge. Each health pickup you find gives you about 25% of your health back, which in my opinion is too much. In addition to that, there are no powerups for your gun or anything of the sort, therefore you will find playing this game to be very lackluster.
Even if you are a Geometry Wars fan like I am, you will probably not find this game very appealing. My suggestion to the author, is to re-do the game. Making the flashing colors optional and adding many powerups and more enemies would make this game much better.
