"Decent"

GOOD: As amusing as the last one. I got a few kicks out of this one with the army of mice VS Sherbert. I also wonder what Tom’s reaction would be if this actually happened.

BAD: None

IMPROVEMENT: None

OVERALL: It was another amusing flash and a overall decent Sherbert tribute.

"a charming story."

I kinda liked the plot. It was kinda sweet and I find it funny to imagine a cat's bravery being brought upon by increased self-awareness.

However, though the graphics aren't bad in themselves, I really disliked the whole animation style.

I felt that for this kind of cartoon, I needed to empaphise with Sherbert and believe in him as a character. With all the tweening you did and limited redrawing, I could rarely properly tell what Sherbert was actually feeling.

Also, the synching to the beat of the tune was a bit off.

Still, a charming story.

+funny- some nice ideas in there

I felt the mice were rather lame- they didn't really DO much they were a bit of a cop out- really just copy the picture, then dont bother.
its good, though, I enjoyed it. the music and the internet!

Go and watch some classic cartoons critically. Study how they get their laughs, the sounds and music blend etc. make them even better.

Poor Sherbert, he is just doing his job but Tom doesn't look pleased.

You have the basic abililty and with the added support of Sherbert fans you can realy clean up.

-Good-
The graphics were done well in this flash although I think you should of redrawn some of the pictures you used(Like the tank logo etc.). The music was definitly a strong point in this flash. There was a little humor in this movie. My favorite being when you see the cat using google.

-Bad-
I would of realy liked to see more sound effects in this flash. Alot of cartoony sounds would have went great with this.

-Overall-
A good flash. Nice work.

^^Good Points^^
A good movie overall and a good effort. The storyline was pretty funny, a good battle between the cat and mouse. I thought the music was the best part, good choices throughout, same with the sound effects.

^^Needs Improving^^
Just try to smooth up the animations a bit throughout this, and maybe some more sound effects to enhance this a bit.

"Great Story and Humor, Bad Graphics"

The story was excellent and the humor was interesting but the graphics absolutely sucked.

Style:
The flash had a kind've "cartoon feeling" it, like I was watching a Tom and Jerry on my computer. Although I was dissapointed at times like when the owl decided to sleep I wanted Sherbert to stick his claws out making the owl to do then see the owl get kicked out of the house before finding out the house cat was mice' worst enemy.

Graphics:
Your graphic style was shit. I think the movie should be more cartoony and less realistic. Also the tweens are extremely slow and make the movie look odd and amateur.

Sound:
The music was a nice pick but when Sherbert popped up with the "Worst Enemy" badge it would've been cool if some thrash metal song started.

Interactivity:
The quality, link to Sherbert1 and link to Sherbert's NG page were great ideas, it explained the blue mouse part. Maybe next Sherbert its about Catronics and have a link to Catronics page.

Humor:
This and style was the best parts of the movie. You can't animate but you can definately make up some funny stuff!

"Sherbert the Cat 2 -- 4.5/5 (and we round up)"

STARS:
-The story has a beginning, middle, and end which follow logically from one another. Kudos! Tom's day off, chaos erupts, and Sherbert saves the day in a good ol fashion'd newgrounds way. Blood and Gore!
- Excellent choice of song, "Flight of the Bumblebee," to bring out the mood of the animation: Mayham and panic.
-Sherbert doing google research made me laugh. lots. and out loud.

SHOOTING STARS:
- When using the pencil tool on flash, try to connect the lines. It gives the graphics/symbols a complete and clean look. Wholesome for the eyes.

Newgrounds front page isn't so far away, bub.

"Nice, but a little rough"

This is the Sorcerer's Apprentice (Disney's Fantasia) meets Tom & Jerry. A wonderfully violent concept.

Although the graphics are a little rough around the edges, you have got animating talent here. What holds you back is that you only animate 2-D layers over the background, rather than doing a complete 3-D turn around. Most of the other motions, you can get away with.

Personally, I think that you needed more than just the Flight of the Bumblebee for sound - possibly some violent noises ripped from Tom & Jerry or other similar cartoons.

The plot was a nice one though and, although the chances of Tom leaving the NG office completely deserted are small to none, I think it's still a good flash.

Do you have any plans to do any other movies in the future?
