before i begin, i have a question for the goodie-goodies labelling this as racist, because i'm curious:
has no-one seen old racist looney toons & disney shorts before? if you haven't watched this yet, or you have but didn't get it, look up the following cartoons:
-der furhur's face w/ donald duck
-southern fried rabbit w/ bugs bunny
-Coal Black And De Sebben Dwarfs (extremely racist looney toons parody of snow white)
-herr meets hare w/ bugs bunny
-hitler's children (a DISNEY anti-german propaganda film)
-donald duck in "the spirit of '43" (another disney anti-german propaganda film)
-commando duck w/ donald duck (low blows at the japanese this time)
now that you're aquainted with the bigotry of 70 years ago, you can watch this cartoon through a different set of eyes.
SPOILER ALERT OMGWTF????//?11!!!!!111!!!!: NIGGA ALARM = racist. of course it does! but it's SUPPOSED to be racist to reflect the nature of the above cartoons! have you guys never seen a copyright on a looney toons cartoon? at least half of them were made before 1960. when did rosa parks refuse to move to the back of the bus? 1955! what do you think the mentality was like at that time?
but i digress.
i loved the cartoon, it was funny as hell. the unexpected "cameo" appearance as blackhead's conscience (or maybe in this case, slave master) completely floored me! as for the nigga alarm: yeah, i was a little offended, but at least i knew why it was there.
and no, i don't think this cartoon should be more like blockhead. besides, if it was too much like blockhead, how many reviews would read "OMG WTF Y DO U HAET US SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH B OREGINEL U FUKHED!!!1!!1!!11!"
enjoy it for what it's worth. if you don't get it, it's not for you.
