that game was fucking awesome! I was so disappointed when that scythe guy killed me. the music was fucking sweet! im so checking out that RPG this was based on!

Ok,first of all this game is really good,it shows a hard work on coding,and making a true brawling game,but it lacks of some things.
1-Blood and gore,please make more,there aren't more of it.And for those weak stomach,a no blood and gore would be good(errm..but i think that everybody in NG likes blood'n gore...)
2-Music.Ok now,this music was just boring and boring,you should at least make different musics to choose from a music menu or turn it off so it doesn't get too repetitive....
These are the main problems,now here are the things i found good on this game...
1-Weapon array.you could choose to a sword from a dildo<==lol,and it was really good finding out what weapon works best,the kill the boss-get his weapon sistem is also good.
2-Combo sistem.It was just perfect,more weapons you have,more damage you deal
3-into movie.Wierd,random and still funny,that's were i got up the humour.
4-3 Modes of game to choose.Well,it was just good to not be so repetitive.
Ending comments.An exelent game,the Ng Staff is getting better and better,keep it up.(sorry about my bad english)

Nothing new for a hack'n'slash game, it was decent, the gameplay was expected, the graphics was imo, was pretty cool cause it was like a comic book, heh. the music got repetive so thats that, and as all hack'n'slash games, the game itself got repetive.

Pros:
Getting the Boss's weapon after defeating him
Comic style graphics
Awesome combo's using all the weapons, and the combo becomes better after each boss taken down

Cons:
Repetive music
Limited monsters per level(You could predict where and how many monsters was going to appear in the next area)
Not alot of violence/gore for a hack'n'slash game.

I gave you a 10 for humor because it was so bad, it was funny. Either way, I'm sure you'd like a pro and con breakdown like everyone else gave, so:

*THE GOOD*
Nothing.

*THE BAD*
ALL OF IT, MAYBE?

Your efforts are 'charming', to say the least...but I suggest you both keep back-up plans for future employment, as this mediocre nonsense will get you nothing more than a few chuckles from...I dunno...GOOD artists and programmers?

FFF-AIL. PASS.

You'd have to be mad to not see the quality of this game here's a run down:

THE GOOD

Awesome artwork

decent bosses (personal fave was the syth guy he's fun when he gets pissed and he was probably the main part in the whole game I actually HAD to block XD)

cool set of weapons

THE BAD

No throw moves or flying kicks! EVERY good sidescrolling fighter needs at least throws to aid you in not getting surrounded, without those inorder to win you end up herding enemies until they're in a group to pull off the big combos.

sword upgrades... besides most of them looking more like joke
do they actually even improve damage? come to think of it do the weapons do different damage for that matter?

the 'combo system' is pretty much just bashing A and on top of that why does he switch between weapons if your combo is long enough? @_@

lastly I died on the last level but when i continued there was no sound at all until I finished the game, might wanna fix that... a fine addition to newgrounds no doubt of that... just might be worth baring the above in mind...

Did not expect the back story to be THAT.Made it all the more funny to think that this guy is slaying a bunch of usher's and waitreses at medievil times. Very challenging to.

Alright. Do I suck or does the 2nd lvl boss go into a scyth- wielding spinning combo doom that never stops every single time?? Really now. Besides that I love this game.
