"Don't dis the deathtraps!"
date: February 28, 2007
Personally, I thought the deathtraps were GREAT simply because they set this game apart from others like it. Plus, it added to the suspense of the game.
Actually, you can tell when you're entering a room with a deathtrap - the atmophere changes a bit. And since there are only a few deathtraps, you know what to expect after getting killed a few times. I found it semi-hard to avoid getting my face sliced off in the bedroom. The axe was fairly easy to dodge, but that damn Teddy...he killed me quite a few times before I was fast enough to punch his lights out!
Why is everyone so upset about the mirror? Is it the face? or does it have something to do with the sound (I actually had my sound off for part of the game, because it's late and everyone else is sleeping). Just wondering...it's scary, but it's not anything to get upset about - unless i'm missing something?
I hope you do make a sequel to this game - and don't get rid of the deathtraps!
I wanted to add one more thing - I liked the fact that you get 3 lives without having to start over. That was a nice touch!
