To start, the menu was extremely annoying. I had to wait a long time before it would start up and when i clicked instructions (don't know WHY i did) took forever and the font wasn't clear at first.
The graphics were nothing more than colored pong. Agree/disagree as you will, but i stand by that. The sound was bleeps and repetitive music in the background. Not too much violence :).
The gameplay was . . . yeah. there were squares trying to kill me? Seriously what the HELL was that about? and i couldn't really get a shot in with the extremely sluggish controls. The powerups weren't distinguished and were confusing.
Take this review to heart and you'll get a great game in to time.

Author's Response:
Man your computer sucks, try reducing the quality and there is no need to be so irritable (wtf a 2?), it hurts a bit, I spent a good portion of my time on this game, and it was solely built to help me learn OOP.
Try making a game, its not that easy. I am aware that the graphics were simple, but was modeled after neon and asteroids so what do you expect. Please next time try harder not to dish out tripe as a review, it doesn't motivate us programmers just depresses us.
