"Good idea, but game itself was not very good"

The idea was very good but the game itself was pretty cruddy. The controls were bad, and some things didn't work like they should have (using a lock pick on a locked door should work for all locked doors). The controls were very clumsy and some of the trickier connections that had to be made (hammer with little brother, note without phone number with phone, etc.) didn't make much sense at all and really killed the whole game.
A couple more years of flash game experience and a little more time and effort put in, and you could really make a game like this work. It was a nice try but unfortunately, it just didn't work out so hot this time.
