This game was so much better than the first...although I did like the first one as well. You improved on everything, gameplay, graphics, puzzles, length, sound. It was much easier to play, much smoother and the voice acting worked very well. I especially loved the voice for Mr. Hangman.
The humour was good...i didn't expect it and that added to the overall enjoment of the game. Added secrets and unlockables makes it re-playable, and infact, I missed one piece of the Treasure Map the first time round, so I'm definatley going to go through it again.
The only thing that got a little annoying was the hand held gaming console noises, though I appreciate the joke.
Overall it was great, cannot wait for part 3.

I hate the fact that this submission isn't getting the score or views it deserves because of all the darn showstopping bugs. :-\ I mean, quite apart from the fact that I voice acted in this here thang and I'd be biased and all, this game really did come out pretty damn sweet. Definitely reminded me of some of the classic Sierra/Lucasarts games and very easy on the eyes.

I think the SFX/Music is pretty loud in comparison to the voices and that the quality of the voices is pretty low (resulting in really bad hissing because of the low-bitrate because of all the "s"es) but yeah: Pretty much full-on perfect here: Though I have to admit some of the humour is a bit (and ocassionally a LOT) hit and miss. I love the idle animation for Pliskin though, that was a nice touch. :-P

Maybe you should put up a warning of some kind that this game should only be played with the latest version of Flash installed? I know I didn't have TOO many problems with the Flash 8 player (nothing as showstopping as some of the previous reviews have mentioned anyway, ouch!)

whenever i try to play it says "saved game not found". a few reviews back you said to exit out and try again. Well, ive tryed at least 15 times and it still wont work. Is there another website or something so that i can play it?

Ill rate it if i can play it.

It was so funny! I played the first one first. I have a little suggestion. Can you put a delete option so that we aren't forced to use the lockpick after one game. I hope you see this review. The lockpick makes the game easier. Some people might want to play through the real game again. Anyway, that hole in the cave led to a funny sequence.

Great game, but found a bug preventing me from continuing. In Chapter 3, if you put the puzzle piece in, but then quit before solving it, you start again with the piece neither in your inventory, or the puzzle.

I never actually played the first game but still enjoyed this one immensly. The story was original the gags were hilarious and the gameplay clever without being over complicated. Although I admit i did need the walktrough once or twice but what the heck. Looking foward to part three!

This is the best point-and-click adventure I've ever played on Newgrounds. Instead of making ridiculously impossible puzzles (that usually aren't even based on any logic whatsoever), you made your game straightforward and possible to beat without using any help from guides or other reviewers. The voice acting was pretty good (except a few weak characters like the cult members and the hangman guy). The graphics were superb and the humor was solid. The length of the game was amazing for such high quality. Good luck with the finale.
