"Decent enough entry"

Seemed an awful lot like a random video style entry, something which for the most part I cannot stand. There was little in the way of story here, don't get me wrong, there was at least a brief outline, but it was pretty much stupid. Then again, this is an entry about a superhero called Pickleman, so I suppose that is to be expected.

The music in this was actually fantastic, sounded very much like an 80's cheesy rock anthem. the style of the entry worked well with it. Your animation skill's aren't that great, a little better than average, but your drawing skills are pretty damn good! As a character, Pickleman has a very unique look to him, which makes him stand out very well.

All in all, decent enough effort here, but because it seems like a random music video style entry, and there is an almost complete lack of coherency, you haven't got that great of a score from me.

This deserves -way- more credit than it got. The animation is spectacular, especially considering everything seems to be (and probably is) hand-drawn, one way or the other. Pickleman has such a great style to him, and the way he's drawn is very nostalgic to comics and hero spoofs, especially his expressions. I'm half-amazed this was never front-page. Theres also a nice, somewhat silent humour value to the spoofy-hero nature of the piece, combined with the credits, it makes you feel like your watching a saturday morning cartoon!

Bravo!

Ok, random stories are getting something a bit predictable and cliché...but this one has something more....it has a cool music and a perfect comics graphich!
that part of the face punch and the close-up to the punch that breaks the dragon was just PERFECT!
