Wow...another piece of serious flash, which really touched me...

It's great to see people like you make pieces of serious flash, and this one, as I've said before, really touched me. It's also great to see pieces of flash that have a MEANING to them. And I saw the greatest meaning of all in this flash animation, which is the same thing YOU said in this movie: what you create will always stay with you.

This was a great flash, which, as I say this ONCE AGAIN, inspired me. 10/10.

this is the first 10/10 review i have ever made. lol. mostly because I made this account today, but, I remember seeing this flash 2 years ago, before I joined or made an account on newgrounds. simply perfect. great animation, music fits perfect. I think this was the first time a sad-based flash was ever created.

Question: Why doesn't the blob follow him to heaven?

That was crazy. That really touched my heart. I didn't like how the imaginary friend was a fog thing almost all of the animation tho. Altogether, it was a great job.

I never thought a flash could move me so much, but it really tugged at my heartstrings, almost felt some tears coming along.

My only mild gripe is that you kept the imaginary friend in fog form for much of the animation. I expected him to revert to the form of a boy at the grave scene, or at least try to tug on the man's pants again at some point. Did you have any particular reason for setting it up that way, or was it just easier to animate?

I think that you've created something here that nearly anyone can relate to. Many of us had imaginary friends when we were young, and yet somehow it feels like these figments of our imagination follow us throughout our lives. You're absolutely right: What we create does always stay with us through our entire lives, whether or not we are aware of it. "Well done" simply does not suffice for this. "Thank you" is much more appropriate.

I actually felt a tinge of teary-eyedness coming on. Why? A man who literally can't remember the last time he cried. Ten? Fifteen years of dry eyes, and this. This piece of art has captured my heart. Well done, sir. Well done.
