"Awesome Mix"

Great mix of golf and side scroller, two of my favorite types of game. Hard though, died on the last hole. The stupid frog things always seem to come right on top of a ninja and my star hits the ninja while the frog has his way with me.

I would've been far more impressed with this if you had come up with the concept of NINJA GOLF by yourselves. The two terms are practically on opposite poles of each other, golf of being a Scottish game of concentration and serenity, and ninja being a badass Japanese assassin.

The game was actually a little on the repetative side; it would've been a bit more interesting if (1) the fighting was a bit more involved, and (2) if bunkers, rough, water hazards, and woods actually did something to impair how far you hit your next shot. Instead, they merely determine what manner of enemies you will face. If this is because of how the original is, that's fine, but I really would've prefered something a bit more involved.

To those of you who intend to play this game, it's not that hard a game, though the hit detection is a little off. Hazards on the golf course have no effect on your ball, so go ahead and shoot straight for the green. Where the ball lands merely determines what manner of terrain you will have to deal with, as well as the enemies associated with that terrain (whatever's between you and the ball.)

And to the authors, I would be most interested in seeing you guys expand on this theme! This is as close to a contact sport as I have ever seen golf!

"Perfect Music"

You did a great job on this one: I especially liked the music and the its cueing. When the Ninja begins to hit the ball, it starts and then it stays until the Ninja arrives at the next ball. Also the Dragon music is fantastic too. Only weak point is the dragon combat: It´s to repetitive and the dragons invulnerabilities make it all the more tedious.
Still 5 Points from me on this one!

hey, i liked the game. the golf game play was good but the fighting could have been better. im not saying it was bad but if maybe you added a weapon or multiple weapons you could abtain (maybe a purchasing system) that would be cool. and maybe you could actually let you sink the putt (maybe with a different golf mode for putting) although i must say that the idea for a boss at every hole was a nice one because if i play a game id prefer a little challenge and the bosses added that factor. i hope to see a number 2 with some upgrades. i hope to hear back.

But the misspelling of "shuriken" brought it down a bit, and the horrendous misuse and mispronunciation of "omedetou gozaimasu" was a bit annoying. Other than that, awesome work! Man, I remember reading that i-Mockery article back in the day. Good times...

I like the game never heard of it on the atari but the game is good everything was done well the only problem is it moved way to slow
