I think.
I like that the sidekicks of the last episode were a bit more involved. Everything but the voice acting improved. Even though those eyelash things Aaliya had were weird, I liked that too.
I love anime more than I should. What can I say? I'm an underpaid, white, virgin, male with nothing better to do. I say this though because this cartoon went a little more into an anime sort of style. It's okay if that 's the way you want to go. Just remember to put your signature style onto this boondocks feel to keep it yours.
The music was a good choice this time. The second song was a little corny, but that's just my opinion. The biggest problem was that the voices were quieter than the music. This made it difficult to hear. And the hearing was important because what was said and what was read were two different things sometimes.
Other than that, the voice acting was still a little stale. As if read and not acted out. Whoever your voice actors are, take them aside and work on it. Make them practice and memorize lines before recording. Try different inflections and emotions. The Boss guy wasn't that great. I don't know. He didn't have the right feel I think. He was just kind of monotone. Jazz and Kiara and Blues did a great job, but the other characters need a little work.
I think that Weremaniac guy meant to say 'accuse'. I won't accuse you of racism either, but I noticed it too. The white guys are bad, the black guys are good. Not racist, but a little cliche. Whatever though, the story is really good and I don't want you changing it. "White is bad, Black is good" is not an entirely tapped out story premise yet so run with it while you can. You know, if that's what you were doing if it wasn't coincidence.
Much better work. On to the next one.
