"Didn't really help me"

You used alot of fancy graphics but no clear step by step way to draw them, i can see the outcome is good but just not very clear on how to do it not only that but the sound was alittle too loud for me and so makes it harder to read the text and follow this tutorial clearly, im sorry but i didn't find it very helpful.

Well this was notbad, it shows how things can be done, and with practice the user can learn from this and hopfuly people can, you preseted a nice idea and flash tut here though, so nice job.

i really enjoyed this tutorial, it actually taught me something most tutorials on herei already know all the stuff on it... i learnt how to make a sky, sun and the light shine... and i really hope u will join the XenoxGames flash team (like we were talkin about on the newgrounds forum)

It was an excellent tutorial and it seems like you really know what your doing with flash. It helped me learn a little more on how to use it which was excellent. The only downside is that you could use a little easier to read text.

-The Good-
Where to start, the background music was good and somehow it went well with the tutorial, not sure how though. Also it defientally sounds like what you're doing here, from start to finish the words 'great flash' came to mind very often.

-The Bad-
Nothing bad really to point out, perhaps the graphics could need perking up a bit but not much at all. Nothing more to say really, im pretty impressed.

-Overall-
A very nice flash, very impressive. Tutorials dont come too much better than this from what i can remember. Very nice.

this is absolutely terrible as a tutorial, but not bad as a flash. your graphics were good, and the music was even better (you can't go wrong with devo), but tutorials shouldn't be about one specific aspect, like this one was. you just said to draw this, draw that, blur this, blur that. shouldn't you have said more about perspective, reflections, contrast (so the things you want your audience to focus on stand out more than the background), and all that good stuff? this was no tutorial; it's more of a guide to drawing a specific background. and seeing as most of it is taken up my water and mountains, what could you do with that background anyway?

tutorials are supposed to be open-ended subjects when it deals with art and animation. in other words, this tutorial for animation is what copy-and-paste tutorials for actionscript are.
