"Quite an experience"

I can see you've put a lot of heart into this. My favorite parts were the simplistic controls, the great soundtrack, and interesting abilities. I'm sure we could go on all day nitpicking on the little bugs in this game, but frankly, that's not what playing these games is all about. An excellent show, I must say.
Some observations:
-I'm sure many players have noticed that "leading" monsters is an extremely effective tactic at winning battles. Get a monster to chase you, and as soon as it gets into range, slash and start running again the instant the damage registers. Because the character is faster than the monsters, they will never get a chance to hit. Unfortunately, I only discovered this near the end of the game, but I used it to beat the final bosses without taking any damage. Was this intentional? If so, I have to question why anyone would bother using abilities if they can focus on this strategy.
-When you fight the sorcerer's two bandit guards, is there any point to collecting the heads they drop? I can't think of any besides collection value.
