I'm not a fan of Metal. I'm also not a fan of Physics. But I can respect good flash when I see it, and damned if this isn't some good flash.
Firstly, I love the look of this flick. The strobe effects, the way you bring the (shredders? am I using that term properly? well, I'll stick to soloists) soloists to the front, very classy. However, though I totally understand the paper bag reason, it's still a bit of a cop-out, so I had to ding you on the graphics. Still, the detail that went into the finger placement (errors aside, I've read the past reviews), and the smoothness of the animation more than make up for it.
The music... again, I'm not much of a metal fan, but I listened to the solo, and was compelled to get the song. Wow. That takes effort. I'm still not a convert, but I certainly give them respect for the skill that takes. Plus the lyrics make you want to pick up a sword and start swinging in the name of righteousness. Definitely a plus.
I gave you points on violence and interactivity, mainly because if this doesn't at least make you consider playing air guitar, then you're a lost cause on humanity. Plus, the warning of your head exploding is well deserved; I lost my roommate thanks to you...
Overall, a classy homage to your muses. Keep up the good work!
