"How soon people forget..."
date: January 20, 2009
To Ace1221, tgore3, and anyone else that considers this a shameless advertisement or a blasphemy against Pearl Harbor:
I live in New York. I waited seven hours to give blood on September 11th. I was as traumatized as everyone else. And it WAS the same as Pearl Harbor--we were attacked on our own soil. Thousands of people lost their lives. Both acts of aggression galvanized America, and brought us together...if only for a little while. It hasn't been that long, really, since the terrorist attacks in 2001--and we've already forgotten those feelings of patriotism. It's a god-damned shame.
By the way, I've got a question for you, Ace: did YOU ever need a blood transfusion?
