It really seemed that it couldn't be funny without the 'out of story random references thing that make no sense and have no real part in the actual story line' parts. It seemed alot like family guy, always referencing to things that make absolutly no sence. It was still rather funny though. That tubgirl reference was great..haha.
Anyway, excellant style and animation. You obviously know how to make and animate your characters, very well at that. I would say that to try and make your storyline a little better, without all of those random references.
