OK, so the kid has an "imaginary friend"...? A person unknowing of "Poltergeist" (or even knowing of Poltergeist but simply interpreting the music in the different, happier light) might not regard this video as "serious" but as "adorably cute".
A child wakes up at midnight (or has a dream) about an imaginary friend who is sad, and cheers her up by offering her his toy truck.

As Matt200 said, "There is no story whatsoever".

okay i'll rate you on several things.
Graphics8/10:Very simple but good overall.The ghost girl could have been drawn better.
Audio10/10:The audio was very scary.It was from poltergiest so that made it even scarier.The ending audio was very cute.
Story9/10:No story whatsoever. I loved the concept though.
Suspence:10/10:OMG! This was very suspenceful! It kept me wanting more. The ending was suspenceful with the high pitched DUD DUN DUN DUN DUN!!!! But after that it was adorable.
Overall10/10:I ran out of words.

To make this simpler, i have divided this into 4 parts.

Part 1: I liked the zoom in the beginning, it made me feel like i was in a movie theater. Also the light reminded me of poltergeist.

Part 2: This part kept me on the edge. animation not so great, i knew nothing scary or lifelike would popup, but with the creepy lullaby music i wasn't so sure. I kept watching.

Part 3: This part made me laugh. when i heard the high pitch DUN! DUN! DUN! I closed my eyes scared, until i found out that it was an odd little funny girl.

Part 4: I felt like I was watching The Sixth Sense combined with the feel good movie of the year. This part was great.

Overall, 9/10

I rarely watch the "Serious Shorts" section of NG, but I have to say, I enjoyed this one. And yeah, I recognized the poltergeist similarity when I saw the white lite in the closet. Great work, hope to see more from you.

The story and Drawings were kind of simple but the reactions to the movement were excellent. I give it eight stars. Oh and the music was good too.

Sappy... real sappy. But the animation was half decent and the story itself was good. I lot better than some of the crap you get on NG. Nah... but... I love NG... not in a nerd way. In the way I love milk with cereal. Time for me to shut the fuck up.

Aww that was so cute. It did freak me out a bit in the begining though, I kept thinking some clown was gonna come out from under the bed like in Poltergeist. lol yes I recognized the music!! lol Great job.

this is probably one of the best serious aniumations on ng it reminds me kind of like when ur 4 and u think theres a monster in ur closet and ur parents say that ur just scared or that its a just a nice monster that wants to be friends
