"MUCH better!"

date: July 11, 2006

A definite better submission than "The Robot and the Retard." For your second portal submission, I give a round of applause, but to keep my reputation, it's a short one. Nice work!

"It's a Start"

date: March 24, 2006

You look like a new flash artist, so let me give you props on this. It's well done, but there are a few things you need to fix up. The shotgun sounds terrible...

While it's not the biggest thing in the world, you might want to see if you can get a better sound for it. Secondly, add a reload button. Make R the button to reload your shotgun so it's easier and not leaving you too vulnerable. Thirdly, add a reloading animation so you can see the shells go in the shotgun. Next, try and get more then a pop-up shooter. See if you can advance further in a level. It sounds like a lot of work, but you don't want a game that is so repetitive it feels like a pop-up book. Finally, definetly see if you can try to maybe add new weaponry? Shotgun isn't that great, round after round. Making just a spare little pistol with 12 rounds, and the shotgun with 6. Just for a little variety?

You're well on your way to being a good animator. Keep up the good work.

"Work in progress"

date: March 24, 2006

Alright... you missed a step somewhere. This seems to be at an early level of creation in a way. It could be a very good game with more modifications and attension to detail. Colour would be a great touch, and more gore because that is always attractive. The sounds were alright but could still use of creative detail. I might assume that you plan to make an actual zombie attack game to follow this? That would be a good idea, the training and then the actually big battle. You could even make it a series of progressive games with some sort of objective other than kill everything. This should be some great practice for you as you learn to become a great flash game creator.

"Well..."

I think this is a good first game, but NOT GOOD ENOUGH to publish.
There's no colour, the graphics aren't too good, and there is almost no interactivity, and I always run out of ammo, but maybe I just haven't figured out how to get any... instructions? This is an easy game to make, a good start, but you should have used this as a training experience in the secrecy of your own room....
