This game is not what I expected. I expected less. Something stupid. But you've proven me that this game can live up what it looked like BEFORE I started playing.
The animation of the cutscenes could've used some work. A little choppy and not so freely moving. Looks restricted. Like none of the characters can move at all. As for the gameplay itself, the animation was AWESOME. Because they DIDN'T look restricted. In fact, the game itself was the exact OPPOSITE of that. I mean, everything was great. The jumping, running, the hacking and slashing, EVERYTHNG was perfect in the animation gameplay.
The artwork could've used some work. Looked like an intern for a Japanese TV show company drew these pictures. I mean, they look good, to some degree. If you look closely, it doesn't look as good as you might think. The background looked AWESOME however. The sky, the grass, the buildings, EVERYTHING was awesome.
The controls were fairly easy to use. No slipping and sliding like some games are known to do. And no random button things like, the G is attack and the F5 is the jump. Nope, everything was close together and reasonable. Heh, at least I could actually CONTROL the character.
It was actually pretty difficult, good thing you had cheats! Heh, actually I didn't use the cheats but it's a good thing you added them in case I DID. That's what most games need, a god mode cheat. This game had one. Anyway, it was actually fairly difficult though. Even if you KNOW what you're doing. All the boos battles were hard. Especially the last one. Whew...
Anyway, all in all, this game could use some work in the art category, but otherwise, this was a great game.
