Lol i had the handheld of this game when i was kid... lol... oh donkey kong... it was good. pretty easy if u ask me... but ive had lots of practice :p

I do admit, the game is hard, the game is frusterating. This game started out hard, but became a manageable dificulty. I had my first frustrations at the first boss fight, but things became much more managable in later levels untill the final boss. I don't think I ever yelled in frustration so loud in my life. From platform being clunky to move to even not able to jump high engoug on the springs. It cause me to yell out "STUPID" or "CHEAP".

Oh well, at least I finished the game.

Even harder than the crappy original, and giving lots of lives doesn't help if its impossible!

It's that kind of a classic remake which makes it funny, the music, the graphics - everything. After a while it gets boring, fun to play a dozen of levels.

Repetitive music.

If you're going to remake something, at least make it of the same quality. There's not point reinventing the wheel if you plan on making it out of pudding.

Controls were clunky, collision detection of both barrels and platforms needs work. I must have died 20 times in level 15, just beacause the charecter didn't move with the platform.

And besides the frustration of getting it to do what you wanted, it wasn't all that hard.

I suppose the execution was perfect in what it aspires to be. The dude's head was a little big(hitbox wise) but other than that, it's good.
