"::Oswald 3::"

This is different to the last two episodes, this has some colour in the form grey if you can call it a colour. The extra grey helps to give just a bit more depth to the background and adds some more variety.
There is no colour in the flash at all which gives it the feeling that it takes pace of a nigh time or the world in which Oswald lives in is constantly dark.
The flash follows the world of Oswald as he (an animated creature of human appearance with a big eye and a small eye) goes about his daily life in his world, each scene opening and closing with a nice soothing guitar sound.
It feels different and a bit eerie at the same time, makes it very original.

::Overall::
A nice addition to the Oswald series. The presentation of the black and white really help create bring it out, making it very eerie along with Oswald's robotic like voice. Great, in other words.

"hmmm"

date: February 15, 2006

well first thing I would like to point out that this looks ALOT like salad fingers.
It had crappy voice for the guy,yea its like a robot I know
hmm not really that great

Author's Response:

Uh... Do robot voices normally move you in some way? Because I don't remember arguing that robot voices were anything special...

I felt as if the interesting thing about Oswald is that he's some sort of mischievous animal-like forest child who lives partially in the fantasy world and partially in the world of a trouble-making Dennis-the-Menace-like rascal.

Salad Fingers, on the other hand, seems to be about psychosis and interacting with others in morbid or perverse ways. Now you might say that it looks a lot like Saland Fingers in that it has squiggily subtitles and is poorly drawn, but I doubt your argument goes any deeper than that.

"WTF?"

date: February 14, 2006

Seriously. Very confusing, but entertaining. The voice got on my nerves though. The animation wasn't dazzling but it did look very good. The Russian Roulette part cracked me up. Great job.

Author's Response:

Yeah... Very few people know that Russian roulette is a guilty pleasure of all forest-dwelling creatures...

A lovely flash, next time try a little harder on the tree's at the begining to make it seem more 3d, rahter than 2d based images.

Oh, and another tip, for your t-shirts link, use:
on(release){
getURL("yourwebsitehere", "_blank");
}
to open in a new window to browse, NG won't let you scroll in a submisison.

Wierd but funny.

Author's Response:

A little explanation would be nice... Are you talking about using tweened background and foreground pieces that move apart as I zoom in? For the 3d effect? Or do you know something I don't?
