Uh... Do robot voices normally move you in some way? Because I don't remember arguing that robot voices were anything special...
I felt as if the interesting thing about Oswald is that he's some sort of mischievous animal-like forest child who lives partially in the fantasy world and partially in the world of a trouble-making Dennis-the-Menace-like rascal.
Salad Fingers, on the other hand, seems to be about psychosis and interacting with others in morbid or perverse ways. Now you might say that it looks a lot like Saland Fingers in that it has squiggily subtitles and is poorly drawn, but I doubt your argument goes any deeper than that.
