I enjoyed this immensely. I can see the effort you put into the graphics and sound and everything, and it has paid off a lot. Everything ran smoothly and accordingly, and there were lots of little things that just looked cool (like when Dr. Fred is drowning the mummy).
However, there were a few things that I don't think were relevant to the story... I don't see the point of Dr. Fred singing and the little mouse being a DJ in the bedroom... It just seems kinda pointless to why he is lonely, doesn't lead on to much and wasn't very funny when all was said and done. Also it said that the terrorists were looking for uranium, but they look in out-of-the-way places (I won't complain too much, just seems weird why they would search a pool or boiler room for the stuff).
But apart from that, this was a great animation. It may have dragged on a good bit too long, but it was still enjoyable. Great effort, and keep up the good work.
Author's Response:
Thanks for the review. That guy that was sad wasn't dr. Fred. It was his son Wierd Ed. In the game Maniac Mansion, Ed is kind of sad and depressed. And the fact that he has blue skin just seemed funny when put with the song.
And as to why the terrorists were in there. The mansion is rigged up with a nuclear reactor b/c Dr. Fred is to cheap to pay for regular electricity.
There are also some cooling rod thingies in the pool. The terrorists wer after this.
I can understand that some of these things would be a bit difficult to pick up on if you haven't played the game. I was almost going to cut the whole terrorist thing out, it really is confusing now that I think about it.
