First off I liked the animation, it was well done and all though I wasn't a big fan of the music. I mean I know it wasn't supposed to be pretty but got kind of annoying.
As for the meaning I'd have to partially agree with Andrewkid before me on some issues like communism not working if that was what you were suggesting. I would also agree a big part of making things better simply has to be the work of the government in the third world countries. Take Latin America for example, many of those countries have remained dependent with falling economies simply because the horrible corruption and short term thinking that goes on there. It would have to take real reform and some progressive changes to be made.
Now I will agree that helping out would be great, but mainly it is something for U.S. and European governments to work on not donations from people. Though many people do very well donate, but to suggest people stop buying the things they do and instead donate would be ridiculous. For one people have worked hard for some luxuries in life, the system of competition with capitalism rewards hard work and keeps the economy and prices in balance. Furthermore it might very well hurt the economy of a coutnry to spend so much money on another as capital is not being circulated.
I will say about Andrewkids post though, there is no reason to bring parties or liberals in that case into this. To assume that is what they feel would be a false accusation for the most part, I think largely they want to make sure the classes are diverse with a more even distributing of wealth. The lack of that is what caused the great depression after all. But enough about parties, each have their valid points for the most part.
Good flash, but don't completely agree with the points
