This was the cartoon that got me into some of David Firth's other work. Watched it about three times now...has a kind of 1984 feel to it. I'm kind of trying to figure out one of the things in the dream sequence...the bit where he's with his family and being served cakes by a beetle. Maybe I'm looking too much into it so I won't go ahead and say what I think is going on...should take it on face value and yes it was funny, weird and stylish and stuff. Another episode would be great...tho what the hell you do with it, god knows.

I reely liked the parts in the dreem went it flashes with the image of his and and other things that looked reely kool.

pretty good, but I think it would be better if you didn't use such explicit images. I'm not saying I was offended by them, I just think our imagination can create something scarier.

Ahh this flash is incredible... i had to watch it a couple times to really get it i think the roaches represent societys corrupting effect on a young person litterly controling his mind introducing him to sex and stealing his innocence.. but other than that it is extreamly disturbing LOL great job

I was entertained, and you need to make more. However... do you have like mental problems or something?? Where do you get these ideas...? It was sooo creepy and rather disturbing and morbid. The Grandmas gash hmm? That was odd... I think I winced a few times watching this. But, like I said, it was still somehow entertaining...

"Cerebral, deep, dark, twisted and disturbing"

This is arguably the sickest, most twisted and disturbing flash on Newgrounds, perhaps the entire internet. Very cerebral, I'm still debating in my mind whether the beetles are real or products of the Toastboy's halucinations. The frame right after you see the Toast Boy, his sister and what's persumably his father, you know, the frame where they're all scribbled out with their throats slit particularly creeped me out as well as made me think.

Excellent job, you obviously put TONS of effort into this both animating and storyboarding.

One must question what goes on in your mind to find the inspiration to make something like that. Creepy, disturbing, but nonetheless interesting. The way the beetles talked and the little buzzing music fit perfectly to give a more disturbing style to the senselessness of the film. Very good, I enjoyed it. :D

sick...but oddly captivating
