first i thought it would be a super active flash... (dont mean interactivity) but it seemt to disappoint me =(. the graphics arnt that super though. nice but not super. i think it could be done better. congrats with your place on the frond... though i dont know if its worth it... if this takes all to get on the frondpage... well i must say i just think you've been lucky with this one...

the special effects (like fading and stuff) are quite easy... i think a bit more dif. specials would make this flash a 10times better allready...

Some nice images here, i like the music, and you do a good job of sort of mimicing a certain sort of movie trailer...at first. At some point the speed needs to pick up a little bit more. Also there a couple images that are too mysterious - the black cloaky thing, what is it anyway?

I liked your fade-out of the eye. In general though, i think more sophisticated animation is needed for this theme. The flat, unmoving characters are like graphic novel or comic drawings, they don't have the capacity to match the tension of the music and the overall trailer format.

Not bad, but I would go back and add more to the animation.

I don't really know why this toon got frontpage(d). The graphics were not that great, especially the backgrounds were crapily drawn. Honestly I think anyone who likes Harry Potter is a lonely-ass book nerd who spends 2 or more hours a day writing into his diary about how he got beaten up in school that day. The song or whatever you can call it was pretty boring. No violence either (What do you expect it's a trailer for a children's movie). No comedy either :(. Looks like this years Harry Pothead is gonna be another disaster. All in all I give you two thumbs down.

but it was far to slow and boring and the music was very quiet. A preloader would also help. Other than that a good flash except for no one in their right mind like Harry Potter!

Dude your flash was friggin awesome. I'm a big Harry Potter fan and your trailer was tight. I'm already excited about Order of the Pheonix even though it won't be out till 2007. But anyway good job. It was very nice.

i love how you didn't give away too much in this trailer... i'm always worried about watching fan-trailers, bc they tend to tell too much about certain points in the movie...
