Congrats on the daily feature! It's a nice animation, simple, with great graphics, great music and a comical plot as well. Loved every second of it. Keep it up!

One question though. When the hell are you going to bring Weapon Brown to Newgrounds? I Demand Weapon Brown! Otherwise, great flashes. Keep 'em coming.

"Pretty cool!"

date: November 30, 2005

It was great! I liked the Skeldor thing :) I don't know what the deal was with the clown makeup, and that .357 did not look a like a revolver, thus would not have six chambers, but who cares really! Well worth the viewing.

"Soon your Xentium crystals will be mine!"

This was a terrific submission and well in keeping with the author's rather depraved sense of humour (if you don't believe me watch his flash "Nanathon" >:) ).
Anyway let's break this bad boy down.

Graphically speaking this flash seemed to focus on the more aestetic aspects of it's content, using nice bright and highly stylized characters and settings with a minimal amount of animated movement (A good example of this is the opening where the cat "Roadkill" hops onto the screen rather than walking). And while most would think this reveals a lack of effort on the artist's part, I believe it in fact is done so by design, forcing the viewer to focus on the true strong point of the flash: the dialogue. A wise decision in my humble opinion. Great job
8/10

As for sound, this flash was again simple but highly effective. About 90+ percent of the sound was just the voices (all done well and with excellent sound quality). The only other sounds being a few sound F/X and the catchy tune at the beginning and end. Just like the graphics department: simple but strong
8/10

Now for style and content. Great ideas all around. The stylized "comic book" feel of the flash gives it a campy ambiance that seems to shout "prep yourself your anything folks". And its a justifyable warning. All the jokes and gimics in the flash come right out of right field and smack the viewer in the face (with the effect of invoking what I like to call WTF laughter). The best line in the flash has to be my review's tagline by the way :)

I also have to point out the parallel that can be drawn between this and the immortal "Garfield" comic strip. Both have a owner/pet relationship wherein the owner has partly accepted the pet's deviant nature, yet still tries to right them when they go too far. But the twisted nature of the 'Roadkill' and the...the...the unique characteristics of his owner separate them in many fun and sadistic ways. I have to give the artist many props for that.
10/10

All in all this was a great little flash that brought a slightly dark bout of amusement to my day. And I think its definitely worth the watch if you're feeling a little naughty and in need of a laugh.

Great job and hope to see more of your work in the future Mr. Yungbluth. Kudos
8/10

Take care all

Author's Response:

Wow! Thorough, yo! Thanks for the praise, and thanks to everyone who has let me know what worked for them in "Six Chamber Discount." Another cartoon is underway and will hopefully delight in the same manner.
