In answer to your question (sorry it’s a long one)

I'm starting to think it may never happen. I have a bunch of ideas for a 3rd one but the reality is I have little time to animate it.

This may also be the case with part 2 of star wars. It just takes so dam long to animate these things on my own that I would rather not be spending it doing just a spoof.

At the moment I am deeply considering dumping both these series in pursuit of more episodes of my current project. This is really hard for me to do because I know how much people like these cartoons and want to see more, but with college work and the lack of passion I just don't have it in me to do any more of these.

So in short a TF Megs 3 doesn't seem likely unless some one else is willing to animate it, and that’s even more unlikely.

I'm sure I've said this before, but they were...um...just friends. Well in my mind they were anyway. Although I’m pretty sure Cyclonus and Galv had a thing, but ppl can make their own decision about that.

Anyway don't be a “robo-fobic”, the 80's was a weird time, and why the hell is their only one female transformer (course Alit 1 and co don't count, I mean they were clearly lesbians) and there were no female Decepticons, which is odd.

Not to worry, should their be a 3rd one, the “rob-mo” stuff will be to minimum. We have made an agreement about this, months ago, so no Soundwave and Galvatron kiddies, although that could have been quite funny.

The idea for Megs 2 came about, really because after watching season 1 and 2 Soundwave is Megs number 1 guy (not in a gay way), then after Megs turns to Galv he is shoved aside for Cyclonus (who is way to loyal if you ask me) and Soundwave doesn't really show up again. That is until the Japanese headmaster series, where he is killed fighting blaster. I always saw this fight as Soundwaves last chance at proving himself to Galv and I felt a little sad for him (I know weird) so I thought, “hay”, “what if Galv pulled an officer and the gentlemen and showed Soundwave how much he cared” (again not in a gay way...THEY ARE JUST FRIENDS).

Truth be told we didn't have many Decpticon puppets and I thought it would be fun to stick him in there along with Thundercracker and the Insecticons.

Also in the first TF megs Cyclonus and Scrouge were not made by Unicron so continuity and all that :p

The real questions are, where did this Cyclonus come from? Why is Astrotrain still alive after being killed by the same stamp collection twice? I’ll try and answer these in the 3rd one, I hope :)
