Okay, yeah, no. This had potential. The sound effects need work, and what the hell is Homer Simpson doing in there? It doesn't make much sense to me. Is it supposed to make any sense? Because it did not. And please, Japan does have vastly superior technology, and the Transformers are not their secret weapons. Don't get me wrong, I mean, I like how you attempted to make something related to The War of the Worlds, but I'm just trying to offer some constructive criticism as a viewer and say that you have the potential to make a good flash. You have good ideas, I can tell, but, like, try to make something that would make a good addendum. You can first try to make some stable music that would nicely fit the situation. For example, a scene with a man looking over a dead body would go well with some sad music played by a slow piano. Again: I'm just giving criticism. Death in The War of the Worlds is not used sparingly, I understand, but it should be nicely balanced with not using excessive death and killing. And the actual story has many ways that people die: the heat ray, blood-sucking black tentacles, black smoke that entered the lungs and practically chocked from the inside-out, and let us not forget that the artillery man took a brutal beating. Back to the music: scenes of people dying would go great with the heavy rock music that you put in the video. Scenes of things like this should be prolonged; it would show and emphasize the destruction and killing. It's excellent that you tackled The War of the Worlds; it has a lot involved. I'm just saying that I want to help you with this topic, raise you up, take care of you and discipline on it should be done. As a viewer who wants to offer constructive criticism, I feel it is my duty to help people like you who wish to please the audience. Your desire to please the audience is obviously there because you made this video. And I'm sure this was not the first video you made. I mean, I liked it. I honestly did. It's just that I think my rating of a '4' says it all. I would have given you a 4.5, but that evidently does not exist. And I'm not the kind of guy that would round up on something like this. I understand you concept of "It was fun to make so what the hell", I get like that too, but I try to put more effort. I'm not trying to deign, and if you get the impression that I am being rude, I'm sorry, truly. I would absolutely love to see a remake of this video please, with all the critiques and advices I and the others have contributed. Please don't get me wrongly. I'm not trying to condescend. I'm trying to be down-to-Earth, and offer help. Movies can be great or they can suck. This movie kind of sucked, and I am, as a viewer, trying to help. Whatever, I'll shut up now, let you be. Sorry, I am a bit of a writer, so I can't really help it.

Author's Response:
That was one epic review. Its a dam shame I can't change anything about this animation. If I had the original files I would remake and fix everything makign it a much better animation. Seriously I hadn't even learned the basics in flash back then.
