Once you had it step up, you should have had it sequentially get more and more and more badass. Ok, so he starts kicking harder and makes some Liu Kang (I guess I should say Bruce Lee) noises and such, but you should have made him have like a dozen more fights, each one more and more hard core than the last, with him doing stuff like zipping across the screen from the center to the left in a quarter of a second, ripping a guy's head off at the left side of the screen, and throwing it at a bunch of guys on the right side like a cannon ball that would either blast them to pieces, send them flying with "bowling pins" sound effects, or make them catch on fire somehow. As it is, it's a bit short and anticlimactic, I think. But I'll give it a 6.
